We know that we are actually in the “people” business. Our employees are our most valuable assets; and
We recognize the simple truth that people are given the chance to earn just one reputation.
We made this our summer of stars – our Training team, starring Colleen, designed and facilitated our SuperStar Contest for the office teams. The prize? A trip to Brainstorming in Puerto Rico! The Multifamily Brainstorming Sessions are, of course, one of the premier conferences for our industry. To find out more about Brainstorming: http://brainstorming.multifamilypro.com/puerto-rico-brainstorming-2014/.
The contest ran for 6 months and really demanded consistent performance, since our criteria included:
consistent telephone performance measured through our telephone performance program
consistent high performance in our secret shops program
conversion ratio over the period of the whole contest
how well the entrants were able to “shop” and evaluate the markets and communities around their own
submission of the marketing collateral they are presenting to guests and residents, along with explanation of the branding value
prospect and resident feedback that specifically mentions them in a positive way!
Voila! The winner was Patti Wisowaty – Community Manager at The Residences at Fountain Square and now, at Rosewood, after a very recent promotion.
There was definitely some fierce competition – we have a lot of tremendous people at Banner, and this contest was a great reminder of that.
Patti is in the middle below, having a great time at our most recent Banner summer outing. Way to go, Patti, and have a great time in Puerto Rico!
And…psssttt! Check back for more of our Maintenance Appreciation Month pictures. We had our summer of sales stars, now we are taking time out in September to appreciate our maintenance professionals who make us look good every day and take such great care of our properties.
The team at Riachi at ONE21 hosted their summer pool party in June!
From Wendy, our Community Manager: Riachi had a Pool Fiesta on June 28th and we had a blast!
We catered lunch from Pasado’s Mexican Restaurant. We love to promote local restaurants, especially when the employees reside at Riachi. We had two pinatas for the kids, goodie bags, DJ, dancing, and the Riachi Team wore festive sombreros.
Vendors donated gift cards and we had 20 WINNERS!!!
It was a great success!!

Thanks to the team at Pine Crossing in Columbus for hosting a great bash!
From Joe, our Community Manager:
We had another successful turnout for our Annual Community Pool Party here at Pine Crossing Apartments held on July 24, 2014. This year’s theme was: “Field Day”.
We had many activities going on throughout the event which included: a Bounce House, Gym Shoe Basketball, Alien Pinball, and Angle Golf. We also had several games which included a Hula Hoop Contest, Swimming pool races, Sack Races, and Water Balloon Toss. We finalized the day with a water balloon fight.
Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. The wonderful feedback from the residents was great. One resident was quoted as saying “No other place that they have lived did any events for their residents like this.” They appreciated how it was catered especially for our residents and their likes. It was a very enjoyable time.
As you will see in the pictures; we had participation from many of our adult residents and kids and everyone seemed to be having a blast. Even our maintenance staff joined in on some of the games. The funniest moment is when our maintenance staff got involved in the sack race.
Our motto here at Pine Crossing is: with Great Food, Fun Memories, Games, Music, Karaoke, Prizes and plenty of events for everyone to enjoy; You can’t go wrong! Our community is like one big family.
