This is becoming a great annual tradition for our Glen Hills team!
Katie, our Assistant Manager at Glen Hills, attached pictures from this year’s Bowl for the Cure. They had a blast, as the Glen Hills’ team usually does!
Bowl for the Cure was held on Friday, February 7th, and Glen Hills had three teams participate. We got to see Bango again, meet Brandon Knight from the Bucks, and root for all the survivors out there (including two from the Banner Bowlers!!) As a group, we helped raise over $1400 for Susan G. Komen. We want to thank everybody who helped support us for this year’s Bowl for the Cure, and look forward to participating with you all again next year!
A blurb about Bowl for the Cure:
Bowl for the Cure®, is an initiative organized by the United States Bowling Congress through The Bowling Foundation. Since the program’s inception in 2000, Bowl for the Cure® has raised more than $10 million for Komen for the Cure while raising bowlers’ awareness about breast cancer screening, treatment and support.
We hope for more participation next year, and of course want to beat this year’s donation! We start forming teams at the end of November, so ask us how to participate!
Good job to the team at Glen Hills – glad it was fun, too!
